Insights from Doctor JNazz

I'm a Board-Certified ObGyn and in caring for women of all ages and stages of their lives, I realized how important the power of choice really is.  I also noticed that many choices made by women are based on faulty information and sources.

It's reported that we make 35,000 decisions per day.  Women make 80% of the healthcare decisions in a household.  It should be easy with information so easily accessible to us, but in fact it's the opposite.  The amount of information is confusing and often unreliable.  My goal is to sift through it and bring the evidence.

We don't choose everything.  We don't choose the family we're born into, what happens to us, or how others treat us.  For everything else, let's make our best choices.

We won't get it right every time, but we can hang our hat on making a good choice with the information at hand.

I graduated college from Fairfield University and worked after that in a restaurant prior to medical school.  I attended Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine at Virginia Tech and completed ObGyn residency at Aultman Hospital in Canton, OH (home of the football Hall of Fame, future home of Tom Brady).  I'm a wife and mother of two.  We enjoy traveling and love animals, we have five alpacas.
